The adaptive services director at Florida Gulf Coast University and I used to joke about this one. FTR, we both think it’s awesome.

Fulfilling a fantasy with this one–Me and My Guide dragon.

The dragon has orange wing flaps and is wearing a brown guide harness with a yellow sign that reads: “Please Don’t Pet Me. I’m working.” The park is filled with people, and attractions like a carousel, a roller coaster, and a Ferris wheel are visible in the background. At the bottom of the image is the caption: “ME AND MY GUIDE DRAGON.”">
I decided to revisit one of my original designs. I was able to unify the action more and the text is part of the picture.

A three-panel black-and-white comic strip. Panel 1 : A man in a button-down shirt casts a fishing line with intense focus. The line arcs toward a large globe next to him. The caption above reads, “He slang it forth…” Panel 2 : The fishing line continues looping around the Earth with motion lines emphasizing its swift travel. Panel 3 : The man looks surprised and mildly concerned as the hook of the fishing line snags the back of his shirt collar. The caption below reads, “And found themself.”

It was my first participation in an art show, and it was absolutely lovely to have over 3 years of effort validated. Not only were people interested in the process, they didn’t seem to mind that I use AI at all.See Something, Say Something and other pieces at the Sarasota Art Museum until May 31.

Unlikelies! No. 1: We’re What Now?
A four-panel comic page introducing the characters of Unlikelies! in a colorful cartoon style. Panel 1: Changeling, a green, dragon-like humanoid with wings and yellow eyes, crouches in a grassy park crater next to a smoking holographic device. They look dazed and annoyed. Speech bubble: “That was the emergency exit.” Panel 2: Princess Ashley, a small girl in a bright pink ball gown and tiara, storms out of a bush dragging a purple suitcase. Her fists are clenched as she yells: “Ugh! ONE minute I’m giving a speech, the next I’m in FOLIAGE! ” Panel 3: Changeling stands with arms crossed, giving a deadpan look. Ashley stands beside them, arms also crossed, glaring forward. In the background, Alex—a white cat with black spots, yellow eyes, and a green collar—sits smugly. A hovering news drone nearby displays the number “01.” Speech bubble from the drone: “ BREAKING NEWS! Local weirdos destroy New Peculiar. More at 11!” Panel 4 (bottom banner): Bold, stylized purple-and-yellow text reads: “COMING SOON UNLIKELIES!” with the trio posed dramatically above it.

Perceptions of Power
A single-panel comic illustration depicts Changeling, a green humanoid with alien-dragon features, standing in a grassy backyard during a chaotic water balloon fight. They wear a dark tank top with a white spiral crest on the chest and are soaking wet, arms outstretched with a big grin. Behind them, Princess Ashley crouches behind a tipped picnic table, mid-throw, launching an orange water balloon that splashes directly onto an approaching kid. She wears a blue dress and a golden tiara. Beside her, Alex, a white cat with black spots and a green collar with a bell, grins approvingly and gestures toward the scene. Around them, kids and fantasy creatures laugh and scatter, holding water balloons. Speech bubbles read: • Alex: “Nice strategy.” • Princess Ashley: “And they think Changeling’s the scary one in the comic…” The scene is bright and cheerful with cartoonish details, a wooden fence, green trees, and water splashes throughout the frame.

Swimmy Smurf
A single-panel comic strip shows Changeling, a green humanoid figure with pointed ears and tousled dark green hair, standing waist-deep in a public swimming pool. They wear a black and purple sleeveless outfit and are grinning widely while throwing up a peace sign with one hand. A glowing, radioactive-looking blue aura surrounds the submerged parts of their body, illuminating the water around them. A speech bubble above their head reads, “I’M SWIMMY SMURF.” Around them, other swimmers, all in black swimsuits, react with horror, disgust, or alarm. One lifeguard stands on a chair in the background, watching the scene with a confused expression. The scene is drawn in a bold, comic strip style with flat colors and thick outlines.

Changeling and Alex Vs. Godzilla
A four-panel comic strip with a cartoonish, classic style features Changeling and Alex in a series of comedic scenes:
Panel 1: Alex, a standing orange cat with black stripes and a green collar, places a paw on a doorknob while staring at a large sign that reads “DO NOT OPEN” in bold black letters on white paper. The background is plain brown, suggesting an indoor hallway or room. Panel 2: Outside in a burning city with orange flames and smoke rising, a large green Godzilla-like monster approaches. Changeling, a green-skinned humanoid with pointed ears and dark hair, stands in the foreground wearing a purple T-shirt. They look up at the creature and say, “Mama?” Alex, now standing beside Changeling, responds with a speech bubble that reads: “I love that you’re so excited about family reunions, but we need to run.” Panel 3: Inside a classic muscle car, Changeling is in the passenger seat holding a sheet of paper that reads: “LIST FOR SPELL RICHESY SPENDEX MUFFIN TINS GLOW-IN-THE-DARK SHOESTRING” The heading inside a speech bubble above Changeling reads: “INGREDIENTS FOR SPELL:” Alex is in the driver’s seat, arms crossed on the steering wheel, looking forward with a neutral expression. Both characters are now dressed like the Winchester brothers from Supernatural — plaid shirts under brown jackets. Panel 4: Outside the car at night, a smoky crater in the background is shaped like the Godzilla monster. The Impala is parked nearby. Changeling and Alex, still dressed as the Winchesters, lean casually against opposite sides of the car, facing each other. Changeling, with hands in pockets, says: “So, feelings.” Alex, grinning slightly, replies in a musical speech bubble: “Oh whoa whoa feelings.” The moon is full in the sky behind them, and the sky is partly cloudy.

Changeling and Alex rob a bank.

Changeling and Alex presen!… The Basics of Blindness!

Happy Easter from Changeling and Alex–a.k.a. Chalex.

Been reworking some images with ChatGPT’S new image tools. Here’s a new 1 pannel comic strip.

It’s sad when a headline like this could be constrewed as breaking news, but I hope you get a chuckle out of it. It’s the more complex images I can create with ChatGPT’s new drawing feature.

Because corporations have a tendency of working its employees and customers to the bone, particularly tech companies with sub-standard tech support.

After riding the new Tron ride at DisneyWorld yesterday, I was inspired to make this.

Enter Sandman!!!

Revisiting inserting myself into The Big Bang Theory. I’ve gotten good enough at this that I’ve managed to slip an easter egg in. If you’re a screen reader user, don’t give it away so the TVI’S in the audience have a shot at this.

Penny Changeling wears a pink tank top with “Bazinga” written in braille, jeans, and an apron, standing with hands on hips and looking amused. Howard Changeling wears a tight-fitting, high-neck shirt, a large belt buckle, and a bowl-cut wig, striking an overconfident pose. Bernadette Changeling wears a floral dress with a cardigan, glasses, and clasps their hands together with a sweet but mischievous smirk. Amy Changeling wears a long skirt, cardigan, and oversized glasses, looking eager as if about to share a neuroscience fact.
The background features Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment, complete with a couch, bookshelves, and a whiteboard covered in equations. The scene has a dynamic, fun atmosphere, full of geeky details and references to the show.">
Let’s do the Time Warp again!

My latest creation. I’m working on some 3D images that should be out some time next week.
